This work explores a sense of fitting into a mass of the unknown, a mystery, which could be the very world we live in, our society. It is about a journey through darkness and trying to fit into a pile of strange energy that hits the body from all around. A bright or dark energy, this series, at this stage, is concentrating on the dark energy and the pain it inflicts. It is through expressing or visualising somehow this pain that one can acknowledge and ultimately be freed. A sense of the surreal, the identity of a statue, psychological anguish and a fascination with the bound human body, are the main impulses for this project.
